  • Social: To educate and train people through technology, giving them the tools they need to improve their lives and strengthen their communities.

Our communities

Logicalis Latin America supported several education-focused initiatives, which included:

  • Level Up: The second edition of the "Level Up" programme focused on training women with prior technical or professional education in IT, aiming to enhance their employability within or outside Logicalis LATAM. In addition to over 135 hours of technical training and nine career webinars, the programme included soft skills development and individual mentoring sessions. In FY25, 120 participants were trained, supported by 134 volunteer mentors from Logicalis LATAM.
  • Technovation Summer School for Girls (University of São Paulo): In FY25, Logicalis LATAM supported 75 girls through the offering of a free online course organised by the Institute of Mathematical and Computer Sciences and University of São Paulo. The programme, aimed at girls aged eight to 18, focused on developing skills to create and market mobile apps that address community issues. The initiative combines technical and soft skills training with personalised mentoring.
  • University of São Paulo – Diversa: The initiative funded two female students per year pursuing qualifications in STEM in FY25.

Our planet

Logicalis Latin America adopts various measures to lessen the impact of its activities on the environment, going beyond legal requirements. This includes monitoring and neutralising carbon emissions, transport by electric vehicle, reverse logistics for the sustainable disposal of electronic waste, and actions to encourage suppliers to implement more sustainable practices.

The division is also committed to offering advisory services and support to its customers on using technology to promote environmental preservation and mitigate the impacts associated with its operations.

Since 2018, the division has measured its greenhouse gas emissions for scopes 1 and 2 in Brazil. Chile and Mexico were included in this activity in 2022 and 2023, respectively. For FY25, the division has measured and offset scope 1 and 2 emissions for all operations in Latin America and is therefore carbon neutral on this basis.

FY25 emissions are shown below:

Carbon emissions (tCO2e)   2025 2024 2022
(base)
Scope 1+2 (location-based)   571  611 280
Scope 1+2 (market-based)   571  611 280
Year-on-year change (market-based)   (7%)
Change vs. base year (market-based)   104

Scope 3   52 999 65 388 95 585
Year-on-year change   (19%)
Change vs. base year   (45%)

1. Note: the carbon emissions data presented in the table has not been audited and should not be considered as an assurance of the accuracy and completeness of such information.
2. FY24 scope 1 and 2 figures, published in the FY24 annual report, have been restated to reflect updated calculation methodologies used in FY25 and applied to prior year figures to ensure comparability.

The year-on-year reduction in scope 1 and 2 emissions (market-based) in Latin America is primarily attributed to the closure of operations in Bolivia during FY25. Scope 3 emissions have reduced markedly, due to reduced spend and improved calculation methodologies. The hybrid approach taken, combining spend-based and data-based methods, has been refined by incorporating more accurate activity data and optimising spend-based estimations.

FY26 plans

  • Maintain the greenhouse gas emissions monitoring and offset 100% of Latin America operations
  • Launch third sustainability report, the first with a scope to include all of Latin American (previously just Brazil)
  • Implement and measure the "Green Delivery Project", a system customisation that allows the logistics department to select not only the most cost-effective logistics suppliers, but also the most sustainable routes to transport IT equipment to customers.
  • Keep amplifying sustainable practices throughout suppliers in Latin America

Progress against FY25 goals

Below are the FY25 goals as published in the previous year, as well as Logicalis LATAM's progress against those goals:

2025 goal   2025 delivery
Continue operating the electric vans in São Paulo and analyse the feasibility of expanding the electric vehicle fleet to serve more customers and regions across Latin America   Logicalis LATAM continues to operate the electric van in São Paulo, but has concluded that the expansion is not necessary at this time, as the current vehicle has been meeting local demands very well. In progress
Plan to broaden the reach of the e-waste campaign by including Paraguay and Chile in the next iteration. This expansion fosters responsible e-waste management practices across various Latin American countries   In FY25, the e-waste campaign continued in Brazil and was extended to Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and Mexico (collecting more than 3 200kg of IT equipment). In progress
Logicalis Brazil will continue its established programme for responsible inventory management and e-waste disposal   Logicalis Brazil continues to execute the programme for responsible inventory management and e-waste disposal. In progress
Logicalis Brazil will continue to offer the reverse logistics programme, providing its customers with a sustainable solution for managing their electronic waste   The reverse logistics programme is an ongoing process in Logicalis Brazil. In progress

In FY25, Logicalis Latin America evolved its employee engagement programme with a new survey called Point of View to gain more specific feedback. The results allowed for the creation of improvement action plans with leaders and across the division, promoting changes that improved wellbeing.

Inclusion and belonging

A focus on inclusion and belonging continues at Logicalis Latin America. Periodic events are held for all employees, where diversity and inclusion themes are discussed broadly, clearly, and respectfully, with internal and external guests, aiming to provide a greater awareness of the theme and shared collective understanding. Behavioural training was delivered through the "Continuous Learning" programme available to all employees, with a pillar dedicated to diversity and inclusion themes.

The division also broadened the inclusion of its talent attraction through its internship programme, which removed geographical barriers, highlighted the value of diverse thinking in its campaign, and reinforced partnerships with educational institutions focused on vulnerable populations. Seventeen interns were hired from over 4 000 applications, with 82% of those hired belonging to diverse groups, and with 63% women.

Wellness

Logicalis LATAM continues to look to improve the wellbeing and mental health of its employees, with targeted policies, programmes and webinars.
