Impacts of Logicalis Latin America’s external environment on its ability to create value

Numerous factors, such as economic and political conditions, lower growth in the markets served, inflationary pressures, currency devaluations, headwinds from high interest rates environments and cost of capital, increased competition, risks related to new technologies, reliance on a limited number of strategic vendors and the scarcity of available suitably qualified technical and leadership talent could all impact Logicalis Latin America’s ability to create value.

Opportunities

Organisations throughout Latin America have been increasingly investing in innovations in search of a competitive edge. Technology is seen as an essential element in this innovation process and thus plays a more strategic role in the corporate context.

Due the skills gap and lack of enough talents in the region, many organisations rely on highly specialised partners who can support them on this transformation journey, providing high-value added services aligned with market trends such as application modernisation, Generative AI use cases, among others.

Meeting customers’ demands and delivering the innovation that the market needs are Logicalis Latin America’s objectives, as it increasingly dedicates itself to providing ongoing services to clients, assuming technology management so that customers can concentrate their energies on the core of their business.

Sustainability is also a growing concern of key stakeholders within the region. To maintain its competitive advantage, Logicalis Latin America is positioning itself as a reference and as a pioneer in Sustainability throughout the region.

Markets

Latin American economies have been growing below global average for years and are still forecasted to continue in this trend according to the IMF. Many political and economic events have also created a lot of uncertainty within the region, both in the short and medium term, which will impact the division’s performance.

Despite unfavourable external conditions, Logicalis Latin America is well positioned to continue being one of the main players in the ICT market within the region, being one of the most skilled companies in key parts of next-gen technology stack for enterprises.
